Church is much more than just gathering once a week in a building. We are a family of believers learning to live the way of Jesus.
Our life groups are smaller groups of people from within our church who meet to encourage each other throughout the week as we practice the way of Jesus together and learn to care for each other.
A typical meeting might consist of reading the bible together, worshipping, chatting and praying for each other.
Our new groups start in March 2025 - you can read about each of our groups below and sign up to get involved
At men's life group we will be making space to worship together, pray for each other, laugh, eat, have fun and journey the highs and lows of life together. We'll also take time to consider what it means to be men who live on mission.
To help guide us, we'll be using the The Missional Life Course by Jon Tyson and Tyler Prieb as we seek to connect our faith to life in the modern world.
When: Fortnightly on Wednesday evenings at 7.45pm starting 19th March
Leader: Ben Cupples
Where: Stockbridge Road, Donaghadee
"Kintsugi' (金継ぎ) is a Japanese technique for repairing pottery with seams of gold. This repairs the brokenness in a way that makes the object more beautiful, and even more unique than it was prior to being broken. Instead of hiding the scars it makes a feature of them.
A Kintsugi Hope Group is a welcoming and supportive space where you can share your struggles, gain valuable insights and develop practical tools to enhance your wellbeing.
Through a combination of group discussions, activities and peer support we will journey together as we seek to grow in strength, hope and resilience.
When: Fortnightly on Thursday evenings at 7.30pm starting 13th March
Leader: Rebecca Cupples & Verity McDonald
Where: Bridgelea Park, Conlig
Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.
Psalm 25:5
Simply a space to connect with other ladies who, in this season, find it easier to get along during the day rather than an evening - whether this is due to family, work, energy or other commitments.
We will (try to) have a very low-key look at a Psalm, share how this can encourage us in our current circumstances and take some time to pray.
We would love to see you there - wee ones welcome too so we'll embrace the chaos together (made easier with some coffee and cake) ❤️
When: Every 3 weeks on Friday mornings starting 14th March.
Leader: Sarah Dorman
Where: Church Road, Dundonald
