Who we are

Rebecca and Ben Cupples lead the team at Bangor Vineyard.  They have been here since we started in September 2017 after they were sent out from Belfast City Vineyard where they had been involved for 7 years.

Rebecca is a native Bangorian and Ben is a blow in but absolutely loves living in Bangor.  

They have been married since 2007 and have three sons.

Rebecca has oversight for prayer ministry, worship, kids and youth.  She is also pioneering compassion ministries.  Alongside her part time work for Bangor Vineyard, she works as a counsellor in a local school.  

Ben  has oversight of the teaching team, lifegroups, intercession, communications and the logistical aspects of Sunday mornings.  He also works 4 days as week in a leadership role within the energy sector.

Bangor Vineyard is affiliated with Vineyard Churches UK and Ireland, a growing family of churches in England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and throughout the world.

Our heart as a church is to raise up an army of sons and daughters who know who they are and what they carry.  We want to equip you to be all God has created you to be and grow in what He is calling you to do. 

For those sensing God call them to explore leadership, we offer a two year leadership development programme where each month we will look at a different area of leadership. 

This course is for those who are just starting to explore leadership and those who are already leading either in our church or in the workplace.  

Perhaps you’ve had leadership spoken over your life but you’re just not sure what the next step looks like.  Whether you’ve been leading 6 months, 6 years, or for what feels like a lifetime, Vineyard Leadership Essentials will challenge and grow you in many different areas.

Our current cohort began in October 2023 and meets monthly on Thursday evenings.   

Vineyard Leadership Essentials is free and is part of the Vineyard Ministry Pathway.
